DESCRIPTION OF DISSEMINATION EVENT:
Internet Safety Day in our school saw all teachers and students wearing coloured wrist bands in support of safer internet and learning spaces. Students had talks and classes around well-being online and how to use the internet to it's best potential.
OUTCOMES AND RESULTS:
This day was part of our school 'ENERGY' programme, this day fell under 'Y' which stands for Your Internet Safety and Use, our school ENERGY leaders are challenging students to use technology for 2 hours less per day over the next 2 weeks. They will record their progress in the Energy section of their diaries and will be supported and mentored each morning by the 6th year ENERGY leaders.
