OBJECTIVES OF ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT:
Objectives of activities carried out: This phase is dedicated to the creation of a set of operative tools to be used by the science teachers to make effective use of ICT based teaching methods and materials through a fully Digital awareness. The Intellectual Output contents will be organized in 3 main areas: - Area 1: it will contain a set of competence assessment tools to be used by science teachers to identify the gaps of knowledge as far as Digital competences are concerned that prevent them in effectively use ICT based methods and teaching tools with their students. - Area 2: it will contain a selection of existing ICT learning objects for Science Teaching identified, analysed, classified and presented to the teachers by the higher education experts - Area 3: Collection of new learning objects created by the School teachers on their own, by reflecting on new ways of using ICT support and Learning Objects in their teaching practice.
DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT:
Meetings with the researchers of Södertörn University and teachers from Ronna school for evaluation of the existing competence assessment tools identified by the universities. Also meetings discussing Comments existing ICT learning objects for teaching science. Creation of five new ICT learning objects for STEM teaching with the support of the Södertörn University.
RESULTS ACHIEVED:
Comments on the existing competence assessment tools. Comments on the existing ICT learning objects . Creation of five ICT learning objects for STEM teaching.
