OBJECTIVES OF ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT:
This phase is dedicated to the creation of a set of operative tools to be used by the science teachers to make effective use of ICT based teaching methods and materials through a fully Digital awareness. The Intellectual Output contents will be organized in 3 main areas: - Area 1: it will contain a set of competence assessment tools to be used by science teachers to identify the gaps of knowledge as far as Digital competences are concerned that prevent them in effectively use ICT based methods and teaching tools with their students. - Area 2: it will contain a selection of existing ICT learning objects for Science Teaching identified, analysed, classified and presented to the teachers by the higher education experts - Area 3: Collection of new learning objects created by the School teachers on their own, by reflecting on new ways of using ICT support and Learning Objects in their teaching practice.
DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT:
Pixel: - Produced a detailed calendar of activities in order to identify the different partners' roles, deadlines and responsibilities. - Proposed the template to carry out the activities. Pixel supported the partners: - Reviewing the existing tools to assess digital competences - Reviewing the ICT learning objects for science education - Identifying innovative ways to use the reviewed ICT learning objects for science education - Creating the new tool for digital competence assessment
