(i) In theGuidelines I found the CPD opportunities links in Ireland as well as the links to other online resources very useful in helping to review new tools that I might use in my teaching in order to improve the learning for students. (ii) In the ICT Tools for Science Education I found the database of reviews of selected ICT learning objects for Science Teaching and Innovative Learning Objects a very useful resource. Again it gives a reviewed list of new tools that I can use in my teaching in order to improve the learning for students. |

I found it extremely useful to learn about different ways in which a software can impact my teaching. I really enjoyed sharing this information with my colleagues and hearing about the software which they explored e.g. Scratch and Quizlet. There are many different innovative technologies that were used throughout this project which will benefit my students into the future. The use of the National Geographic Education website was particularly good as it helped them to understand the importance of sustainable development and how climate change can affect us all. They enjoyed being able to navigate the website on their own as well as in groups and enjoyed the fact that use was made out of pictures and videos to explain certain aspects of sustainability and the environment. The project worked very well in my classroom. I really enjoyed the workshops with other schools and I think if this had been done earlier in the project it could have helped encourage teachers to bring more ICT into their classrooms. Overall, this is a very worthwhile project. |

I enjoyed a lot the aim of the Fiction project to use ICT in teaching to promote a personal and active construction of their knowledge by students, starting from their needs and motivations, actively collaborating with classmates and teachers.
